Hercules and the Hydra

Scope of Project - The left hand of the figure had several large cracks.  These were due to water settling in the hand and freezing during the winter months.  All corrosion was removed.  The cracks were welded with a tig-welder, ground and finished.  Wrought and hand-shaped finishing chisels were used to match the delicate surface textures and folds.  This is the same technique employed by the original foundry artisans.
