Thomas Jefferson Monument |
|
Scope of Project The statue was being destroyed by environmental concerns. The corrosion layers were removed with
glass beads using low air pressure. The entire beaded surface was revitalized and a new patina was applied. The statue was sealed and waxed and has been maintained with a yearly cleaning and
rewaxing. After 17 years the piece still looks great. |
