Ice-Skating Princess
|
Scope of Project - The skater was detached at the base. The base had originally been filled with lead at the artists request. Since the piece had no marble base, the added weight was needed to stabalize it while in the upright position. This presents a problem in shipping and in the process of that was dropped and the break occurred. The figure was reattached and the critical joining point was strengthened.
