Scope of Project: This Moreau bronze required
a significant amount of surface preparation to restore
it to its original condition. After
various patination techniques and procedures, a beautiful
deep reddish-brown color with light and dark variations
was achieved. Several layers of a hand-made premium
wax was then applied over a couple of days to render
the soft warm and durable luster. A new black Belgian base was fabricated to which the original nameplate was attached. See
