Scope of Project: There was virtually no original color left on this fine little bronze but was structurally sound. The piece was cleaned, acids neutralized, and a new patina applied. The surface was sealed with a good quality wax along with a small amount of pigment to enhance the colors. The lion was then mounted to a new base designed and fabricated specifically for this piece.
