Owner Background John E. Ward has over
30 years experience in all aspects of the making
and finishing of objects in bronze
and zinc. After
completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at
Louisianna State University he attended University
of Oregon and earned Master of Fine Arts specializing
in printmaking and sculpture.
From Oregon John moved to San Miguel de Allende,
Mexico to work and learn the art of the foundry
business. From Mexico he moved to the Tuscany
region of Italy where he worked hand in hand
with highly skilled fine art craftsmen for several
years. This experience was invaluable in
gaining the knowledge and confidence to solve
a vast assortment of problems that occur in unusual
restoration situations.
